Hedge Calculator
Find the exact stake on the opposite side that locks in profit — or scale back to keep more upside.
How to use the Hedge Calculator
Hedging means betting against a bet you already placed so you collect regardless of the outcome. You typically hedge a futures or live bet that has moved heavily in your favor (your team is up 3-0 in the World Series, your futures ticket is now worth way more than you paid for it).
This calculator takes your original odds, your wager, and the current opposite-side price. It solves for the hedge stake that locks in equal profit on both outcomes — that's the slider at 100%. Slide toward 0% to risk less on the hedge and keep more upside if your original bet hits, at the cost of a smaller guaranteed floor.
When the opposite side is heavily juiced, the math sometimes says hedging actually loses money — better to let the original bet ride. The result panel will show you whether a hedge locks in a profit or a loss before you commit any cash.
