How to use the No-Vig Calculator

Every sportsbook bakes a margin (the vig, hold, or juice) into both sides of a market. A typical -110 / -110 line implies 52.4% on each side — totaling 104.8% — and that extra 4.8% is the book's edge.

The no-vig calculator strips that margin out proportionally. Enter the quoted odds on both sides (or all three for moneyline markets with a draw) and see the fair implied probability and the no-vig price for each outcome. Compare those true probabilities to your own projection or to a sharper book's line to find +EV bets.

This is the same technique sharps use to grade closing line value (CLV). If you consistently beat the no-vig closing price, you have an edge.

Frequently asked questions

Convert each side to implied probability. Sum them — the total exceeds 100% by the vig. Divide each implied probability by that total to get the no-vig fair probability, then convert back to odds.
