How to use the Odds Converter

Every sportsbook quotes odds in one of three common formats: American (-110, +150), decimal (1.91, 2.50), or fractional (10/11, 3/2). They all describe the same payout structure — just in different units. Convert between them with one click and see the implied win probability in the same view.

Implied probability is the percentage chance a bet must win to break even at the listed price. It includes the sportsbook's vig (the built-in margin), so the implied % from a single side will always overstate the true probability. To strip out the vig and find the fair price, use the No-Vig Calculator.

Use this converter when you're comparing prices across books that show odds differently, when you're translating tipster picks into your home format, or when you're trying to understand whether a -350 favorite is actually as locked-in as the price suggests.

Frequently asked questions

For positive American odds, divide by 100 and add 1 (e.g. +150 → 150/100 + 1 = 2.50). For negative, divide 100 by the absolute value and add 1 (e.g. -110 → 100/110 + 1 ≈ 1.91).
